Everett, WA-The Everett Hawks of the National indoor Football League are pleased to partner with Volunteers of America of Snohomish County/Everett to hold a toy drive this holiday season. The Hawks will host an Open House for the general public at the team's office in Everett (2202 Everett Avenue Suite A, Everett, WA 98201) on Tuesday, December 21st from 4 pmâ7 pm. Coaches, players, cheerleaders and staff will greet fans to share information on the team, season tickets, as well as sell team merchandise. As entry to the Open house, each guest is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to Volunteers of America. The team hopes to collect over 100 toys for the local children of Everett.
Volunteers of America Western Washington is a faith-based human service organization dedicated to reaching, uplifting and empowering diverse individuals, families and communities in the following areas promoting support and self-sufficiency for the hungry; homeless and those in personal crisis, caring for seniors and those with disabilities, fostering their independence, supporting the positive development and direction for children and youth, offering resources and support for professionals and the community. Volunteers of America is an organization that offers 22 service programs spread over eight counties with an annual operating budget of nearly $20 million. The eight service counties include Kitsap, Pierce, King, Snohomish, Skagit, Island, San Juan and Whatcom.
The Everett Hawks of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL) is an organization that is funded by private investors and corporate sponsors.
