Frederick Keys News Release
On Friday, October 29, 2004, the Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Blood Services Region will conduct a community blood drive that will run from noon to 6:00 pm in the Keys Cafe at Harry Grove Stadium. An hour after the conclusion of the blood drive the Frederick Jaycees will present The Panic Asylum Haunted House from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Participants in both events need not worry though, as blood drawn by the Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Blood Services will not be used in the production of the Panic Asylum.
Frederick Keys mascot, Keyote posed the question, but then gestured to his head as if to say, "With the great need for blood in our area hospitals we want to make sure it goes where it is truly needed."
For more information on Friday's blood drive please call the American Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE (1-800-448-3543) to schedule you life-saving donation.
Fans are urged to come and get a few screams with WFRE radio personality Dave
Conrad, who will be on-hand for WFRE Night on Friday. The Panic Asylum will open its
doors every night through Halloween between 7 pm -11pm. Admission is $10 for adults
and $6 for children 14-and-under, with discounted rates for groups of 10 or more
that reserve tickets in advance. For information, please call 1-877-8-GOKEYS or log
onto www.frederickkeys.com A portion of the proceeds from "The Panic Asylum" will benefit the Frederick Jaycees
community service and leadership development projects.
