The Raptors (1-1), fresh off a bye week, will host
the Evansville BlueCats (1-2). On March 30, Rock River
defeated the Bloomington Extreme 53-20. The Raptors
were led by QB Ben Sankey and DE Darius Jones.
Sankey completed 27 of 29 passes for 288 yards for 6
total touchdowns (5 pass and 1 rush) and Jones had 8.5
tackles (3.5 TFL) and 2.5 sacks. The BlueCats lost to
Lexington 70-25 last Saturday. Leading the way were
RB Ray Kirkley and DB Tez Morris. Kirkley gained 75
yards on the ground and added 19 receiving while
Morris had 6 tackles (1 for loss). The teams met once
last year with the Raptors winning 47-36.
