Evans Leads Riverhounds to Best Start in Franchise History

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA- Justin Evans returned to his native state of Pennsylvania to play for the up and coming Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the highly competitive A-League. Evans returns to the A-League after his second season with the Cleveland Force where he recorded thirty-one points during the 2002-03 season including one game-winning goal.

The 26 year-old began his third stint with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and was named this year's team captain. Evans is just one of five remaining players on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds roster from their inaugural season in 1999. Evans has already made an immediate impact for the Riverhounds this season. He has scored one goal for the Riverhounds so far, and has started every game this season. Evans is a big part of turning around a franchise that only had one win all of last season. The Riverhounds are currently 2-1-1 and are in first place in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference in the A-League.
