Evans, Djeziri Named to USL PRO Team of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY - USL PRO named its team of the week for Week 17 of the USL PRO season and Energy FC was represented by midfielder Adda Djeziri and defender Gareth Evans.
Djeziri had a pair of assists in Energy FC's 2-0 win over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds last Saturday in Oklahoma City. Evans helped command a defense that has helped produce four consecutive clean sheets at home. Energy FC is in the midst of a seven-game unbeaten streak (4-0-3). The streak has propelled the Energy FC squad into playoff position.
Richmond Kickers forward Matt Delicate was named the USL PRO player of the week. Although he was inserted as a sub in the Kickers' game against Sacramento Republic FC, he scored both goals in Richmond's 2-1 win.
Energy FC closes out a season-long six-game homestand with two games this week. Thursday, Oklahoma City hosts Arizona Republic FC. Saturday, they host LA Galaxy II. Both games kickoff at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available by contacting the Energy FC office at 235-KICK.
