Etihad Player of the Month: Santiago Rodríguez Lands October Award

New York City FC is pleased to announce that Santiago Rodríguez has been awarded the Etihad Player of the Month for October, following a series of standout performances.
Rodríguez was an influential force for City's throughout the month, showcasing his creativity and determination to help the team accumulate six points.
The 24-year-old had four goal involvements in October, including one of the fastest goals in Club history against Nashville SC. That was one of two goals he scored that day, and arrived four days after he provided a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win against FC Cincinnati.
That helped Rodríguez finish the regular season with 12 goals and 10 assists - a career best with City to date - a stat that underlined his importance to the team and City's successes in 2024.
A worthy winner, the Club would like to congratulate Santi on his award.
