Today, the SeaWolves look for a series sweep as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the final game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves took down the Senators 3-1 en route to the club's second straight winning series. Erie is back at the .500 mark for the first time since May 10 when the club was 15-15. Erie's only other sweep of the season was a rain shortened two game set against Binghamton April 11-12. The âWolves enter play in third place in the Western Division. 3.5 games behind the first place Senators...Lefty Jay Voss takes the mound for the Howlers making his third start since getting the call up from Class-A Lakeland. Voss picked up a win in his last start at Binghamton on May 31 in game one of a doubleheader. In the game, he allowed a run on two hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Erie won the game 3-1...RHP Tanner Roark takes the mound for the Senators making his fifth start. Roark picked up a win in his last start against Bowie on May 30. In the game, he allowed four runs on seven hits with three walks and two strikeouts in six innings of work...The SeaWolves made several roster moves heading into Sunday's game. RHP Zach Simons was placed on the DL, RHP Zach Samuels was brought up from Lakeland, RHP Brooks Brown was activated from the DL and assigned to Erie, LHP Ramon Garcia was transferred to Toledo and RHP Luke Putkonen was sent down to Lakeland.
- The SeaWolves lead the season series over Harrisburg 2-0. The SeaWolves and Senators meet 13 times in 2011.
