Elmira Enforcers News Release
The Elmira Enforcers are proud to announce that Captain Ahmed Mahfouz will be returning from HK Levice to the Elmira EnforcersÃÂ and winger Brandon Tucker has re-signed for the 2020-2021 season.
Mahfouz, a 31 year old forward from Ottawa, ONT Canada, returns from HK Levice after playing the full preseason and a number of games before returning to Elmira. Ahmed has never shied away from the spotlight during his time in Elmira and his team first attitude comes through every time he touches the ice. Mahfouz scored his 800th career point this past season and his work ethic is second to none. With a veteran presence like Ahmed in the lineup the Enforcers are set to once again be playoff bound with an eye on the Championship.
Tucker, a 24 year old forward from Colorado Springs, CO, spent 2018-2019 with the Evansville Thunderbolts before coming to Elmira last season. Brandon was an easy fit with the Enforcers top 6 as he put up 42 points in 42 games with 24 goals and 18 assists. Having been a key piece of the power play as well as the top six Tucker not only shined on the ice he was a regular in community appearances. Brandon embraced Elmira as much as he did his role on the team.
Owners Robbie and Nellie Nichols was very excited to get these players back: "Fouz was the very first player I went after to bring to our organization. The fierce way that he plays the game, the energy and excitement he brings every night is what our great fans deserve. Brandon was a player we knew could play and Brandon came right into the top six and made an impact right away. We are very excited to bring him back to continue chasing a championship." Robbie told media members.
