
Emma Cannon Scores Season High as Fever Fall to Storm

SEATTLE - Fever forward Emma Cannon scored 10 of her season-high 14 points in the second quarter alone in the 81-65 loss to the Seattle Storm on Sunday. Cannon finished 4-of-6 shooting and 5-of-6 from the free throw line in her third game scoring double figures this season. Indiana is now 5-22, while Seattle is at 17-8.
Indiana reduced an 11-point halftime deficit to three in the third quarter, but ultimately were unable to complete the comeback in the third and final regular season matchup with the Storm.
Fever forward NaLyssa Smith led the team with 15 points and nine rebounds on Sunday. This was the fourth game this year the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft has led the team in scoring. Queen Egbo added 13 points and six rebounds.
Kelsey Mitchell tied a team-best with four assists to go along with eight points and three rebounds. Danielle Robinson also dished out four assists to go along with four points.
For Seattle, Breanna Stewart scored 17 of her game-high 25 points in the first half. Stewart shot 9-of-21, including 4-of-9 from beyond the arc, to go along with eight rebounds. Jewell Loyd poured in 15 points and five rebounds, while Tina Charles finished with 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench. In her final regular season game against the Fever, Sue Bird was held scoreless, but distributed a game-high six assists.
Seattle assisted on 26 of 30 made field goals on Sunday.
