Overview: Emma Cannon served as the unequivocal journey woman during the 2021 WNBA season. Before signing with the Fever, Cannon joined Connecticut on June 7 and averaged 4.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 11.5 minutes per contest in five games before being released. The 6-foot-2 forward began the 2021 season with the Las Vegas Aces and appeared in three games. She became the fifth woman in WNBA history to play for three different teams during the same season. With Indiana, Cannon averaged 6.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 18.4 minutes per contest in 12 games, while starting the first six games of her career. She signed the first of three 7-day contracts with Indiana on July 28, before ultimately being signed for the rest of the season on September 6.

Notable Achievements/Performances:

August 20: Thrown into the starting lineup as one of seven players available at the Dallas Wings, Cannon finished with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting and five rebounds to help Indiana earn the road win.

September 17: In the final home game of the regular season, Cannon finished with 12 points and set a new season-high with eight rebounds.

September 19: Cannon ended the 2021 regular season with a career-high 19 points scored, tied a career-high with eight field goals made and tied her season-high with eight rebounds. Cannon scored in double figures in each of the final three games of the season.
