EMBARGO - FC Tulsa Unveils 2023 Route 66 Kit and Interstate Kit
March 9, 2023 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
FC Tulsa News Release
TULSA - In front of a live audience of over four hundred Tulsans, FC Tulsa debuted its 2023 Route 66 and Interstate kits on Thursday night at Shady Keys. The entirety of FC Tulsa's roster and coaching staff were in attendance to model the jerseys as the new PUMA threads were officially unveiled and made available for fans to purchase.
FC Tulsa's Route 66 Kit will primarily serve as the club's home kit throughout the upcoming season that kicks off on Saturday, March 11. The traditional black Tulsa kit has been completely re-designed with two vertical patina green stripes dashing down the center of the jersey, boldly representing the street markings of the globally recognized interstate as well as Route 66 when illuminating a neon glow under the night sky. The iconic Route 66 badge near the bottom of the jersey puts the Mother Road itself on full display for all to see.
The Interstate Kit is white to mirror the interstate markers that line the highways when traveling across state lines. Interchanging patina green and gold stripes stretch horizontally across the front of the jersey to symbolize the United States interstate system in the art deco colors prominently featured in downtown Tulsa.
The back of both jerseys also features the Greenwood Ave. crest designed by local artist and Greenwood Ave. creator Trey Thaxton as FC Tulsa continues to honor the legacy of the Greenwood District in which ONEOK Field is located.
The two jerseys are both available for fans to order online or purchase at the FC Tulsa Team Shop location at Mother Road Market's LTO | MKT until April 2. Youth sizes range from S-XL while adult sizes span S-XXL.
