Elmira Jackals Announce Pre-Season Schedule

ELMIRA, N.Y. - September 14, 2012 - The Elmira Jackals announced today that they will play a pair of pre-season games in preparation for the 2012-13 ECHL campaign.
The Jackals' home pre-season slate will consist of the annual Blue-White Intrasquad Game which will be played on Thursday, October 4 at 6:30 p.m. at First Arena. Seating for the Blue-White game is general admission and tickets cost $5. Jackals season ticket holders, meanwhile, will receive free admission to the game. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for season ticket holders and 6:00 p.m. for the public. The Jackals will also host a season ticket holder pick-up party that night and more details will be announced prior to the event.
Following the Blue-White Game, the Jackals will travel to Reading to take on the Royals in their final pre-season tuneup. The game will be played on Monday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sovereign Center. The game will be closed to the general public. The Jackals will announce in the coming weeks where fans will be able to access the broadcast and follow the final exhibition game.
The Jackals open the regular season on Friday, October 12 at 7:05 p.m. at First Arena against the Reading Royals. The home opener will usher in the Jackals' 13th season of professional hockey and sixth as a member of the ECHL.
