Elmira Adds Five to Staff for Inaugural FHL Season

ELMIRA, NEW YORK -Elmira announced their first five hiring's for their inaugural season at First Arena during today's press conference. Alex Jones as Director of Community Relations, Austin Simon as Director of Ticket Sales, Kane Cowper as Operations Manager, Jonathan Kliment as Broadcaster, and Troy Costantino as Account Executive will join Owner Robbie Nichols and General Manager Marc Witt as members of CAN-USA Sports, the parent company of the new Franchise.

Alex Jones is originally from Owego, where he graduated from Owego Free Academy. After high school, he graduated from SUNY Tompkins Cortland with an Associate's degree before transferring to SUNY Brockport where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management with a minor in coaching. Jones then pursued an internship with the Binghamton Senators where he worked for a year specializing in working with: schools, churches and nonprofit groups. After leaving the Binghamton team he moved on to pursue his career in education which he would become the fourth generation of his immediate family to do so. He is now the community relations director and IT director for CAN-USA Sports.

Austin Simon grew up in Binghamton, New York and graduated from Susquehanna Valley High School. After graduating, Simon went to SUNY Broome before transferring to SUNY Cortland to major in Sport Management with a concentration and marketing and sales. He graduated with a 3.96 GPA and Summa Cum Laude honors. After graduating from college, Austin started as an Inside Sales Representative for the Binghamton Devils hockey team. Simon was than promoted to an Account Executive before becoming the Director of Ticket Sales for CAN-USA Sports.

Kane Cowper is the new operations manager of First Arena. Kane brings a wealth of knowledge in Carpentry, Electrical, and other Engineering skills to First Arena. Kane is a hard worker and will be a huge part of the team as CAN-USA Sports brings First Arena back to its former glory.

Jonathan Kliment grew up in Binghamton, NY and graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's from Full Sail University in Sports Management and Marketing. In addition, Kliment also graduated from American Broadcasting School. Jonathan has spent nine years working in the minor leagues as a Merchandise Manager and the last four years as a broadcaster for SUNY Broome and Binghamton University's hockey programs. Kliment also served as a Color Analyst for the CWHL's Boston Blades and he participated in an internship with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in Media Relations. Kliment is now the Broadcaster for CAN-USA Sports.

Troy Costantino grew up in Hoosick Falls, New York. He went to Hoosick Falls Central High School, and proceeded to attend SUNY Cortland majoring in Sport Management. Costantino graduated from there in May 2018. Troy was an inside sales representative for The Binghamton Devils Hockey Club from May to August 2018. Troy now works as an Account Executive for CAN-USA Sports.
