Powered by four home runs, the Bend Elks hammered the Walla Walla Sweets, 20-4, Saturday evening in a West Coast League baseball game at Vince Genna Stadium.

Jake Peavyhouse slugged a grand slam, compiling five RBIs for the game Curtis Wildung, Trevor Allen and JB Carroll joined the long ball parade for the Elks. Austin Guzzon earned the victory, pitching four solid innings for Bend. Grant Newton contributed three hits and three runs scored to the Elks' highest offensive output of the season. The Elks tallied 23 off four Sweet pitchers.

Running their winning streak to seven games, the Elks advanced above .500 for the first time since the third game of the season. The Elks are now 11-10, good for third place in the South Division of the WCL. Walla Walla dropped to 6-12.

The Elks and Sweets square off in the final game of the three-game series Sunday afternoon at 5:05 at Vince Genna Stadium.
