
Eliuk Earns National Lacrosse League Defensive Player of The Week Honors

Philadelphia Wings goaltender Dallas Eliuk was named the NLL's Defensive Player of the Week for his 55 saves against the Arizona Sting on January 7. Eliuk's performance propelled the Wings to a 10-9 overtime victory over the Sting at Glendale Arena in Phoenix, AZ.
"Dallas continues to be one of the greatest goaltenders that this game has ever seen," said Wings Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson. "His performance against Arizona was a huge inspiration to our team and he was the deciding factor in that game."
The Wings return to action against the Toronto Rock for their home opener on Saturday, January 22 at the Wachovia Center at 8 p.m.
