Eleven wins are heaven for Utah Snowbears 99-74 over Blackhawks

Tyrone Hayes scored 23 points off the bench, and Utah's defense limited Bellevue to 5 assists and 34 percent from the field as Utah coasted to a 99-74 win in Salt Lake City Friday. Hayes added 8 rebounds and 2 blocks as Utah dominated from beginning to end to raise its record to 11-0.

The Snowbears held Bellevue to 17 first quarter points and led 29-17 behind Alex Austin's 8 points. Those 8 points equalled what the Blackhawks scored in the entire second quarter as Utah outscored Bellevue 31-8 in the period to lead 60-25 at the half. Curtis Millage had 11 in the period off 4 assists from Tony Farmer, while Hayes added 9.

Hayes had several spectacular slams, while Antoine Broxsie blocked everything that moved in the middle. Millage finished with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 assists, while Austin finished with 14. Harold Arceneaux and Clay Tucker finished with 11 and 10 points respectively. Eric Sandrin led the Blackhawks with 22 and Justin Murray added 18 for Bellevue in the losing effort.
