
Edmonton concludes season with a victory

The Edmonton Cracker-Cats concluded their 2006 season in the Northern League the same way they started it, with a victory over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.
It was a 3-1 victory Sunday afternoon with Brett Lawson, the second of six pitchers, pitching two innings of relief to pick up the win and finish the season with an 8 and 6 record. Scott Richmond closed the game out for his 8th and final save.
Fargo starter Mike Peschel (9-4) pitched the opening four innings, allowing two runs to take the loss.
The âCats finish the season at 44 and 52. The playoff bound RedHawks amassed a 66 and 30 regular season record.
