Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Capitals want to hear you sing. The Caps will be hosting open auditions for an Anthem Singer Search presented by Kingsway Mall and 91.7 the Bounce. Contestants will have a chance to take the stage at Kingsway Mall Sunday, May 16 and belt out their best version of the National Anthem. There will be a panel of celebrity judges who will select the top 5 singers who will advance to the final Thursday May 27 where they will sing at TELUS Field for the right to be named the primary Capitals Anthem Singer. The winner will also receive a pass to the final of the Bounce Showdown.
Registration for the event will take place Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on the Upper Level of Kingsway Mall near the food court. Singing starts at 1 p.m.
