Charleston, South Carolina - The Allen Americans resume the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals tonight from Charleston, South Carolina, where the series will pick up for the next three games. Puck drop tonight from the North Charleston Coliseum is at 6:05 pm. The South Carolina Stingrays lead the series 2-1.

After splitting the first two games in Allen, the Stingrays won Game 3 by a score of 4-1 at Allen Event Center, in a game that was much closer than the final score indicated. Allen outshot South Carolina 40-28 for the contest, which was 2-1 with five minutes left to go in the third period.

"When you come into a series like this you really don't have to say much to get up for it," said Americans forward, Gary Steffes. "This has been our dream all season to make it to the finals, and the boys are ready to go and focused. We have some areas of our game that need to be fixed, and we addressed that this morning. I am excited for tonight and I'm sure you will see the boys come out strong."

The Americans are 8-1 this season in games where they score first. The only exception was in Game 1 against South Carolina. Allen is 4-4 on the road this postseason and has been outscored by their opponents 29-26 in those eight games.

Greger Hanson, who left Game 3 with an injury, is good to go for tonight. Hanson leads the Americans in scoring this postseason, with 27 points. Patrik Valcak, who was out of the lineup for Game 3, is also expected back in tonight for Allen.

South Carolina is led in the postseason by forwards Wayne Simpson, 36 points, and Andrew Rowe, 32 points. The Stingrays have been a very average team at home in the playoffs, with a record of 4-3-3, compared to a 10-2-1 record away from home.

"We have to do a better job against their top line," said Allen Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson. "We need everybody in the game, and need everybody on their A-Game, which we haven't had in the series. I'm very confident we're going to win tonight, but need everyone on board."

Join us for the watching parties tonight at The Franchise in Plano, and Game On in Allen/Fairview. The Ice Angels will be making an appearance at The Franchise from 6-7 pm. Listen to the game online with Tommy Daniels beginning at 5:30 pm with the pregame show. www.hot1073fm.com, or watch on pay per view on ECHL TV http://echl.neulion.com/echl/home#RockYourRed
