PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Wednesday announced that Evansville's Dan Gendur has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #66, Evansville at Kalamazoo, on Oct. 27.
Gendur was assessed a match penalty for illegal check to the head under Rule #48.5 at 19:09 of the third period.
Gendur missed Evansville's game vs. Gwinnett (Oct. 28), and will miss games vs. Wheeling (Nov. 2) and at Toledo (Nov. 3).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
