Tyler, who entered the season rated by MLB.com as the sixth best prospect in the Detroit organization, was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the sixth round of the 2011 draft out of Howard Junior College in Big Spring, Texas.
Danny Salazar, a right-handed starting pitcher for the Akron Aeros, has been selected as the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for the period of April 29th-May 5th.
