Earthquakes to Host LA Galaxy on Saturday at Buck Shaw Stadium

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will take on the LA Galaxy for the first time in 2011 on Saturday, June 25 at Buck Shaw Stadium. The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. PT and will air live on FOX Soccer, 1220 KDOW (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish). In addition, 2,500 fans will receive a free Interactive Financial Soccer CD-ROM presented by Visa.
The Earthquakes are 3-2-2 at home this season and have outscored opponents 11-7 in those games. Their last home loss came on April 23 against Chivas USA when San Jose fell 2-1.
Last season the Quakes were unbeaten against the Galaxy, tying 2-2 in their July 22 meeting in Southern California, and then winning 1-0 when Chris Wondolowski slotted home the game winner in the 4th minute.
