
Earthquakes Acquire Third Round Draft Pick From Toronto FC

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the team has traded defender Nick Garcia and the discovery rights to Ali Gerba to Toronto FC in exchange for a third round pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft.
The Texas native came to San Jose in a trade with the Kansas City Wizards prior to the 2008 season. Garcia has made 260 appearances in his career, 36 of which came as a member of the Earthquakes.
