Earnest Graham and Tampa Bay Storm Assistant Coach Dave Wilson to Coach Badge Bowl

TAMPA BAY - Come join Earnest Graham and Tampa Bay Storm Assistant Coach Dave Wilson and members of Tampa Fire Rescue and the Tampa Police Department as they host the 9th Annual Badge Bowl on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in downtown Tampa.

The event benefits The 1Voice Foundation, a children's cancer charity that focuses on caring for Tampa Bay children and families affected by childhood cancer and raising funds for pediatric cancer research. Through ticket sales and corporate sponsorships, the Badge Bowl has raised nearly $200,000 over the past 10 years to help assist the families both financially and emotionally. The goal this year is to raise $50,000.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, May 5, 2012

Place: Tampa Bay Forum, 401 Channelside Drive in Tampa

Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, free for military members with ID and 3 of their guests

10 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Pre-game activities on the Tampa Bay Times Plaza, including games, inflatables, entertainment, music, food, raffles and a display of emergency vehicles

12:30 p.m.: See who you're helping when local childhood cancer patients and their siblings participate in the traditional Pre-Game Parade and receive medals from the firefighter and police teams

1:00 p.m.: Welcome and Opening Ceremony for Badge Bowl IX

1:20 p.m.: Game Time!

2:45 p.m.: Game concludes

About 1 Voice Foundation: The 1 Voice Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that focuses on the cause, the care and the cure. They provide families with information and resources on various forms of childhood cancer, treatment facilities and available options.
