Colorado Eagles News Release

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles have announced the launching of two new pages on their website aimed at helping to raise money for the Colorado Eagles Foundation - a non-profit organization aimed at improving life specifically in Northern Colorado. Both an online auction page and an online donation page are now available via the team's website.

The Eagles have launched an online auction page (similar to e-bay), where fans can bid on team items from current and former players, with all of the proceeds going to the Colorado Eagles Foundation. To access the auction page, fans can now go to www.coloradoeagles.com, scroll over the Eagles Gear tab and click on Auctions. The first three items up for bid include a 2006-07 Championship Team-Signed Jersey, a 2007-08 Team-Signed Helmet and a Matt Desrosiers Game-Worn Jersey.

And if fans would rather simply donate to the Colorado Eagles Foundation, without purchasing an item or waiting for a specific function organized by the team or community, they can go to the Eagles' new donation page. The donation page will also allow fans who can not afford to purchase items at auction to donate whatever amount they feel comfortable with. To access the page, simply scroll over the Community tab and click on the Eagles Foundation to go to the secure site.
