
Dyson and Lewis Named NBA D-League All-Stars

TULSA, Okla., Feb. 8, 2012 - The NBA D-League announced today that guard Jerome Dyson and forward Marcus Lewis have been chosen to represent the Tulsa 66ers at the 2012 NBA D-League All-Star Game. The game will take place at NBA Jam Session Center Court inside the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando on Saturday, Feb. 25, and will be broadcast live on NBA TV at 1 p.m. CT.
"The 66ers organization is extremely proud of Jerome and Marcus for being named D-League All-Stars this season," 66ers head coach Dale Osbourne said. "The honor is certainly well-deserved, as both have been strong leaders both on and off the court for our team this year."
In his second season playing for the 66ers, Dyson has appeared in 24 games (all starts) and averaged 19.3 points (7th in the NBA D-League), 4.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 35.4 min.
Lewis, who began his third season in Tulsa, has played in 25 games (all starts) and averaged 14.3 points, an NBA D-League-best 13.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 36.2 minutes. The forward currently leads the NBA D-League with 20 double-doubles on the season, nine more than any other player.
