
Dukes Begin Second Half with Wins, Promotions

(Duluth, MN) With the team completing a sweep of the Schaumburg Flyers to land in first place in the Northern League Central, the front office has announced several new promotions just in time for the second half of the season. Only at Wade Stadium can fans get in for half-price for sharing alast name with a Dukes' employee or win a color television courtesy of your favorite baseball team.
Color TV-A-Thon
Friday, July 26 - 7:05 pm

Ten color televisions! Your Duluth-Superior Dukes will be giving away 10 TVs over the weekend of July 26, 27 and 28. Three each will drawn for on Friday and Saturday nights, and then four winners will be chosen on Sunday!
All In The Family Night

Anyone with a matching last name of a Dukes' employee will receive a half-price ticket. If a fan's last name matches a front office staff's last name, that fan will receive a half-priced ticket in our reserve seating area. If a fan's last name matches a Dukes' player or coach's last name, that fan will receive a half-price ticket in the Dukes' "groupie" section, behind the Dukes' dugout. If a fan's last name matches a Dukes' stadium staff last name, that fan will receive a half-priced ticket in the grandstand.
Cigar Box Night
Friday, August 9 - 7:05 pm
Dukes owner, John Ehlert collects cigar boxes, and at his wife's suggestion, he's eager to share his collection with the Twin Ports. Each fan in attendance will get a chance, through a lottery system, to win one of 100 genuine wooden cigar boxes. Some boxes will include Dukes tickets, concession vouchers, and one lucky winner will find a brand-new $100 bill in his cigar box!
"The team is creating excitement on the field, it's our job to continue that excitement in the stands of Wade Stadium," announced Dukes General Manager, Adam Ehlert. "We hope that these ideas will give our fans further incentive to come out and make noise cheering on our winning Dukes."
More promotions are expected to be announced soon.
