Ducks Tickets Selling at Record Pace
July 4, 2003 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Cincinnati RailRaiders News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks are scoring big with season ticket-holders who are burning up the sales charts at the fastest rate in franchise history.
More than 80 percent of the club's season tickets have been renewed for the 2003-2004 AHL season.
"We are very pleased and thankful with the positive response we have had from our season ticket-holders this early in the off-season," said Ducks president Tom Garrity, who attributes the boom in sales, in part, to the parent Mighty Ducks of Anaheim's run to the Stanley Cup finals.
"Many of the players with Anaheim passed through Cincinnati on their way to the NHL, which made this spring's developments in the Stanley Cup playoffs a real pleasure for our fans and provided excitement and interest in our team for next season."
The Mighty Ducks' 2003-2004 regular-season home opener at Cincinnati Gardens is set for Saturday, October 11 at 7:35 p.m. Four other home dates have also been confirmed by the AHL: Saturday, October 25; Saturday, November 8; Friday, November 28; and Saturday, December 26.
The opponents for these games, as well as the Mighty Ducks' complete 2003-2004 schedule, will be released later this summer.
Fans interested in Mighty Ducks Season Tickets can purchase them by calling (513) 351-3999. Tickets are available in several price ranges and plans.
Individual tickets will go on sale in September. An exact date and time will be announced when the information is available.
