
Ducks Sweep Sharks

Camden Riversharks News Release
(September 9, 2010- CAMDEN, NJ) The Riversharks were swept by the Long Island Ducks during this home series. Randy Keisler took the win and improved his record to (5-0) while Ben Davis of the Riversharks was charged with his 11th loss of this season.
Long Island jumped out in front early in the game. Matt Cavagnaro hit a single then proceeded to steal both second and third base on Robinson Cancel's at bat. Cancel then drove Cavangnaro in to score with a base hit.
The visitors extended their lead in the third as Cavagnaro blasted a two run homer over the back field wall, 3-0.
The Sharks managed to tie together a run in the fourth frame. Chris Malec led off the inning with a base hit and advanced into scoring position with the following at bats. Estee Harris then stepped to the plate and hit a RBI single, making the score 3-1.
Long Island tacked additional runs in the seventh and ninth innings. One run added in the seventh while two were scored in the final frame from a Cavagnaro double, hit to right centerfield which made the final score 6-1.
