BEAUMONT, TX -- The Beaumont Drillers are ready to get back to their winning ways as they host rival-Southwest Louisiana on Monday, May 9 at 7:05 p.m. inside Ford Arena. Southwest Louisiana was renamed at the beginning of the season to the Swashbuckers from the Lake Charles LandSharks.
Corpus Christi defeated Lubbock 55-51 on Saturday night to improve to 4-3. A Driller win over SWL, and there would be a 3-way tie for first place atop the Pacific East.

Tickets: All seats just $3 (Reserved & Value Seats); free parking Central High School Marching Band will perform throughout the game and during halftime.
Series: SWL leads the all-time series 3-1. The teams split last year's two games, both winning games at home.
Last: SWL def. Beaumont 59-41 at the Lake Charles Civic Center on June 19, 2004. Beaumont won at home (Bmt Civic Center) last year 48-28. The Swashbucklers have outscored the Drillers 208-125 in their four previous meetings.
