
Drillers Rained out Due to Tropical Storm Bill

Wednesday night's scheduled game between the Tulsa Drillers and Arkansas Travelers fell victim to Tropical Storm Bill. The game was postponed when the storm's rains entered the downtown Tulsa area late in the afternoon.
The game is now scheduled to be played as part of a doubleheader on Saturday at ONEOK Field with game one set to begin at 5:05PM. Each game will consist of seven innings, with the Tulsa's Channel 8 Fireworks Show presented by the Hard Rock Casino and Z104.5, The Edge scheduled for after the doubleheader.
Fans holding tickets for the Wednesday's rainout may exchange them for like tickets to any other regular season game at ONEOK Field this season, based on availability.
The two teams will now attempt to begin their series with a doubleheader on Thursday night at ONEOK Field. The first game is scheduled to begin at 5:05PM. A single game is scheduled to be played at 7:05PM Friday before the series will conclude with Saturday's twin-bill.
The pitching match up for Thursday's doubleheader will feature Eric Stults and Chris Anderson for the Drillers, while the Travelers are expected to counter with Michael Brady and either Nate Smith or Austin Wood. Gates at ONEOK Field will open at 4:30PM.
