Central Valley Dawgs News Release

Calgary, ON. Otis Hailey, GM of the ABA Calgary Drillers professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November today announced the first players signed to the team's roster, and according to Hailey, "These guys are good." Included are:

James Penny, a 6'7" guard/forward from Texas Christian
Jai Pradia, a 6'6" forward from Pittsburgh State
Willie Murdaugh, a 6'3" guard from South Carolina
Nate Driggers, a 6'6" forward from Juarez in the ABA
Kevin Norris, a 5'11" guard from Miami

Hailey added, "I've been around the ABA for a couple of years and know the quality of players it takes to be competitive. Based on what the other teams are doing, it is going to take outstanding players to compete. I think the people of Calgary will be very impressed. If the next five are as good as these five, watch out for us."
