Tulsa Drillers News Release
The Tulsa Drillers will host their second homestand of the season beginning on Monday, April 27. It will be an 8-day stand that will include four games against the Arkansas Travelers (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) from April 27-30, followed by another four-game set against the Springfield Cardinals (St. Louis Cardinals) from May 1-4.
The first five games (April 27-May 1) of the stand will have starting times of 7:05PM. The game on Saturday, May 2 will begin at 6:05PM, the game on Sunday, May 3 will start at 2:05PM, while the finale on Monday, May 4 will begin at 10:05AM.
The promotions schedule will be highlighted by Drillers Stadium replica giveaways on Friday, May 1 and by Fireworks on Saturday, May 2.
Other events will include Kansas City Royals tickets on April 28, Clunker Car Night/Thirsty Thursday on April 30 and a Kids Clinic/Kids Eat Free Sunday on May 3.

Tickets for all eight games in the homestand and all other game this season are now on sale at the Drillers Stadium Ticket Office. Tickets are also available at TulsaDrillers.com or by calling (918)744-5901.
GOOD START: Tulsa finished with a 4-2 record during their first homestand of 2009.
GOOD STARTS: Much of the credit for the successful homestand should go to the starting rotation. The five starting pitchers combined for a 3.45 ERA in the six games with Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Chaz Roe (5 IP) and Keith Weiser (6 IP) did not allow a run in their starts.
ROSTER MOVE: Catcher Dayton Buller has been placed on the disabled list with a hand laceration. Catcher Ryan Bowden has been activated to replace Buller.
TOUGH TRIO: Chacin, Roe and Weiser combined for a 1.75 ERA in their first seven starts of the season.
K CLUB: Through their first 15 games, Tulsa pitchers led the Texas League with 121 strikeouts.
