
Drillers announce training camp roster

BEAUMONT, TX â The Beaumont Drillers have released their training camp roster for the 2005 season, which begins March 5th when the Drillers open up the season at home hosting the Odessa Roughnecks.
Of the 35 players reporting to training camp for first year head coach Kyle Mackey, 15 were on the Drillers' 2004 roster.
"I am looking forward to getting started," said Mackey. "We have plenty of talent returning and assembled some talent in key areas we needed to improve in."
The Drillers will open up training camp on Sat., Feb. 19.
