
Drew Lugbauer, Odalvi Javier Named Farm Bureau Player & Pitcher of the Week

PEARL, MS - The Mississippi Braves and Farm Bureau are excited to announce that infielder Drew Lugbauer and relief pitcher Odalvi Javier have been named the Farm Bureau Player and Pitcher of the Week.
Lugbauer, 25, blasted a three-run walk-off home run on Friday night against Pensacola. In the series, the first baseman smacked two homers with five RBI and four walks.
Lugbauer ranks second in the Southern League with 18 home runs and holds the M-Braves career home run record at 36. He sits among the league leaders in RBI (45, T-6th), SLG (.486, 8th), XBH (36, 3rd), doubles (T-5th), walks (47, T-3rd) and total bases (136, T-4th).
Atlanta drafted Lugbauer in the 11th round of the 2017 draft.
Javier, 25, tossed four scoreless innings with six strikeouts in three relief appearances against Pensacola.
Javier posts a 2.65 ERA in 37 1/3 innings over 30 relief appearances with 45 strikeouts. The right-hander has not allowed an earned run in his last 17 1/3 innings over 14 appearances.
Atlanta signed Javier as a non-drafted free agent on December 2, 2014.
