Dayton Dragons News Release

Dayton, Ohio - Dayton Dragons Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Brandy Guinaugh has been named to the 2018 Class of the Forty Under 40 Awards, which recognizes the area's most extraordinary business and community leaders under the age of 40, sponsored by the University of Dayton MBA Program.

Ms. Guinaugh has been with the Dragons since 2004. As Vice-President of Corporate Partnerships, she is responsible for the execution, delivery, and fulfillment of the organization's sponsor agreements and suite contracts. She is also responsible for the coordination of over 50 non-baseball stadium events. These events range from simple ballpark outings, like Donatos Movie Night, to large-scale productions like the Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio 5k Fun Run, our Hometown Heroes program, Anthem Home Run for Life, and our Dragons MVP program.

Ms. Guinaugh oversees the Dragons sponsor services staff along with the development, creation, and production of all sponsor-related marketing materials and promotions. These duties include the management of local radio and television broadcasts; sponsorship-related direct response newspaper ads; design, print, and delivery of our game night program; interfacing with the Dragons Creative Department on the development of LED and LCD animations; and the creation of customized, year-end annual reports provided to sponsors as proof of performance.

Utilizing a strong "lead by example" management style, Guinaugh also trains, mentors, and teaches sponsorship department interns. Thanks to her tutelage and demand for excellence, many interns are offered the chance to join the Dragons on a permanent basis or are quickly hired by other organizations.

In 2016, Ms. Guinaugh was selected as Minor League Baseball's national Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year. Ms. Guinaugh is a native of Middletown, Ohio and a graduate of Miami University. She resides in Beavercreek with her husband, David, and their two daughters, Coraline and Maggie.

"It's an honor to be recognized in this way," said Guinaugh. "I love what I do for the Dragons organization. I'm so thankful for the wonderful support system I have with my family, friends and the amazing team that I work with every day."

Dragons President Robert Murphy issued the following statement:

"We are tremendously pleased and proud of Brandy. We see the hard work, leadership, organizational skills, and creativity that she brings to the Dayton Dragons to make our team better every day, and she is most deserving of this recognition."

The 2018 Forty under 40 class marks the 21st anniversary of Dayton Business Journal honoring the region's brightest young professionals on an annual basis. Nearly 200 nominations were received from all corners of our community. Judging was conducted independently.
