Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Cedar Rapids Kernels (affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels) in the third game of a three-game set. Following this series, the Dragons will play six straight road games vs. Wisconsin and Beloit starting Wednesday.
Individual Notes
* Kyle Waldrop over his last 12 games: 15 for 35 (.429), five doubles, two triples, six RBI. He is now batting .327 and leads the Midwest League in on-base percentage at .480. He also has 10 walks and three hit batsmen on the year.
* Yovan Gonzalez has hit safely in seven straight games, going 12 for 25 (.480) with two home runs. He is hitting .394 on the year.

* Dan Jensen, a right-handed relief pitcher, becomes the first Montgomery County native to play for the Dragons in their history. Jensen is from the Dayton suburb of Centerville. He has made seven appearances out of the Dayton bullpen and allowed two unearned runs in 13 innings.
* Dragons reliever Carlos Contreras over his last three appearances: 6.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 SO.

* The Dragons are 7-4 over their last 11 games and need a win tonight to earn their third straight series victory. A win tonight would also lift them over the .500 mark for the first time since they were 2-1 after the third game of the season.
