Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Peoria Chiefs (affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) in the rubber match of a three-game series and game three of a six-game road trip for Dayton.
Last Game: Dayton 4, Peoria 1. The Dragons outstanding run of pitching continued as starter Nick Travieso and four relievers combined on a five-hitter and walked one while striking out 11.
Today's Dragons Starting Pitcher: Sal Romano will make his second start of 2014 and 27th career start for the Dragons tonight. Romano won his first start on Friday night vs. West Michigan in Dayton (6 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 2 SO). Romano is rated as the #25 prospect in the Reds organization entering the 2014 season.
