
Dragons Box Office to Open Early for Facebook Friends

DAYTON, OH - For the first time, Dayton Dragons Facebook fans will get an early chance to purchase tickets for the 2013 season. Single game tickets for the upcoming year will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, March 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Dragons Box Office located next to the main entry gates at Fifth Third Field. However, fans who "Like" the Dragons on Facebook will get exclusive access to a ticketing link on Wednesday, March 20th, a week in advance.
Fans can simply go to Facebook.com/dragonsbaseball and click the "Like" button to become eligible for the early ticket-buying opportunity. On March 20th, at 10:00 a.m., a special link will be posted on the Dragons Facebook page with access to purchase tickets. Fans who already "Like" the Dragons on Facebook will see the link automatically on the Dragons page.
The Dragons open up their 14th season of baseball on the road Thursday, April 4th at West Michigan. A week later, the Dragons return home to open up Fifth Third Field on Thursday, April 11th against the Great Lake Loons at 7 PM. The Dragons are scheduled to play 70 home games during the regular season.
The Dragons will host the Midwest League All-Star Game at Fifth Third Field on June 18. Information on purchasing tickets will be announced at a later date, but fans who "Like" the Dragons on Facebook will receive an early pre-sale opportunity.
The box office will be open throughout the season from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. On weekend game dates, the box office will open at 12:00 noon and close following the game. It will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays when the team is on the road.

Single-game tickets can be purchased a variety of different ways:
In person, at the Dragons box office, any Miami Valley Kroger store, or any Ticketmaster outlet.
Online, at daytondragons.com.

There is never a convenience charge for tickets purchased at the Dragons box office. There is also no convenience charge for tickets purchased from the Dragons by phone at (937) 228-2287 (a shipping charge is added for tickets that are mailed).
The Dragons welcome new manager Jose Nieves and the return of pitching coach Tony Fossas and hitting coach Alex Palaez to the club for the 2013 season. This season's roster is filled with many of the top prospects in the Cincinnati Reds Organization, including former first round draft pick Robert Stephenson.
The Dragons' mascots, Heater and Gem; and Fifth Third Field characters Roofman, Wink, and ATMO all return for the 2013 season. Once again, the Dragons have put together an exciting lineup of entertainment acts focusing on family fun.
- The high-flying K-9 Crew, a collection of some of the world's most athletic canines, returns to Dayton on Wednesday, May 15th.
- The ZOOperstars! will visit Fifth Third Field twice in 2013, on Sunday, June 2nd and Thursday, August 8th.
- BirdZerk! will bring his wild and crazy antics to the ballpark on Sunday, July 21st.
MCDONALDS FRIENDS AND FAMILY NIGHT OPTION RETURNS
The Dragons Friends & Family program is back for its 11th season. Fans have the option of purchasing stadium seat tickets or lawn tickets as part of the package. On select Friends & Family game nights, fans can get a Dragons game ticket, Dragons cap, and McDonald's extra value meal, all for just $15.00 for a stadium seat ticket or $11.00 for a lawn seat. The first Friends and Family game dates are Saturday, April 13th and Saturday, April 27th. Friends and Family tickets will also be available starting March 27th at the Dragons Box Office and online at www.daytondragons.com.
Group ticket opportunities are also available through the Dragons, including luxury suites, party decks, seating in the Dragons Lair, on the third base side, and on the Lawn at Fifth Third Field. Special benefits are available for groups of 10 to 1,000 fans.
