
'Dogs Unveil Exhibition Slate, Featuring Border Wars

LINCOLN - The Saltdogs will play a five-game exhibition schedule leading into the 2013 campaign, highlighted by the season-ticket holders party May 9 and a special "Border Wars" triple-header May 10 at Haymarket Park.
Lincoln's first home exhibition game is set for Thursday, May 9 at 6:05 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to get to know the Saltdogs with special on-field introductions prior to the ballgame against the division-rival Sioux City Explorers.
Friday, May 10 is the "Border Wars" triple-header featuring the "ÃËDogs, Wichita, and Kansas City. Lincoln will bookend the bragging-rights tilts, taking the diamond at 4:05 p.m. and 8 p.m. in seven-inning contests.
All tickets to Saltdogs home exhibition games at Haymarket Park will be $5, including entry to the "Border Wars" triple-header.
The Saltdogs open up the 2013 regular season Thursday, May 16 at Gary SouthShore RailCats.
The Lincoln home opener is May 23 against the defending champion Winnipeg Goldeyes. Single-game tickets will go on sale May 1.
