April 16, 2005 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Richmond RiverDogs News Release
The Richmond RiverDogs today announced that they will not be renewing the contract of Head Coach Donny Martin. "We are heading in a new direction. There are some great things in place for next season, including the 2006 All-Star Classic and the new rivalry with the Roanoke Valley Vipers. The RiverDogs will put the pieces in place for a winning team both on and off the ice. This is the best thing for my team and its fans", stated Owner Glenn Morelli.
