
Dogs 2006-2007 home tickets on sale September 5th

HAMILTON, ON (Thursday, August 31st, 2006)... The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today individual home game tickets for the 2006-2007 season will go on sale on Tuesday, September 5th, 2006 at 12:00 p.m.
The Bulldogs will open their 11th American Hockey League season on Friday, October 6th, 2006 at 7:30 p.m., when they will take on their North Division rival the Manitoba Moose at Copps Coliseum in Downtown Hamilton.
During the upcoming season, the âDogs will play 16 of the AHL's 26 other teams, making the 2006-2007 schedule one of the most diverse in franchise history. Of the Bulldogs' 40 home games, 24 are against North Division rivals. Hamilton will host the Toronto Marlies six times, the Grand Rapids Griffins and Rochester Americans five times each, and the Manitoba Moose and Syracuse Crunch four times apiece.
The âDogs will also welcome all seven teams from the West Division of the Western Conference to Steeltown. The Chicago Wolves, Iowa Stars, Milwaukee Admirals, and Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights will all play two games in Hamilton, while the Houston Aeros, Peoria Rivermen, and San Antonio Rampage will each come to Copps Coliseum for a single battle with the Bulldogs.
In addition, the Bulldogs will face four of the seven teams from the East Division of the Eastern Conference. The Albany River Rats will travel to Hamilton twice, while the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins, and the last two Calder Cup Champions - the Philadelphia Phantoms (2005), and the Hershey Bears (2006), will all make one appearance at Copps Coliseum.
The Bulldogs will play 39 of their 40 home games at Copps Coliseum. The lone exception is home game #32, which will take place on Sunday, March 18th, 2007, versus the Syracuse Crunch. This game will be played at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec - home of Hamilton's National Hockey League Parent Club, the Canadiens.
Of the âDogs 39 games in Steeltown, 30 will take place on weekends, with 18 contests on Fridays, eight on Saturdays, and four on Sundays. The team will round out their home schedule with six games on Wednesdays, three on Tuesdays, and one on a Thursday. All Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday games will start at 7:30 p.m., while all Saturday games will begin at 7:00 p.m. All Sunday contests at Copps Coliseum will kick-off at 4:00 p.m.
