
Wolves Sign Glenview Native Fahey

The Chicago Wolves have signed defenseman BRIAN FAHEY.
The Glenview native registered 11 assists, 17 points and 74 penalty minutes in 64 games with the American Hockey League's Iowa Stars last season. Overall, the 25-year-old blueliner has accrued 16 helpers, 22 points and 94 penalty minutes in 98 career AHL tilts.
Selected by the Colorado Avalanche with their fourth pick, 119th overall, in the 2000 National Hockey League Entry Draft, FAHEY spent four seasons at the University of Wisconsin (1999-2003), racking up 42 points (14G, 28A) and 145 penalty minutes in 101 matchups.
FAHEY will be in attendance when the Wolves launch their 13th training camp at the Hoffman Estates Park District Community Center and Ice Arena on Thu., Sept. 21.
