Corpus Christi IceRays News Release
The Corpus Christi Rayz are pleased to present a "Dog-Day Afternoon" this Sunday at the American Bank Center. The Rayz return to home ice at 5:00pm this Sunday when they host the expansion Youngstown (OH) Steelhounds in the first ever meeting between the two clubs on Caller-Times Family Day. The American Bank Center will be the perfect location for a family affair this Sunday. Tickets start as low as $10 and fans can receive two FREE children tickets with the purchase of every regular priced adult ticket.
No family is complete without a pet, and the Rayz are teaming up with area animal shelters for a live dog adoption throughout the game. The Rayz are also asking for your help -- all fans who donate an unopened can or bag of dog food at the game will be entered into a drawing for a Rayz Prize Pack. The Rayz Prize Pack will include autographed team merchandise and free tickets to an upcoming Rayz game.
The Rayz and the Caller-Times have joined forces again this season for six Family Day games throughout the year. Family Day games will stress affordability and will be geared towards entertaining the entire family. On Sunday the Rayz will have clowns, balloon artists and face painting among the activities for families in attendance. With the FREE children's tickets, a family of six can enjoy the game for as little as $20.
The Youngstown Steelhounds are in their first season of existence after joining the Central Hockey League this past summer. Sunday will mark the first and only time this season that the Rayz and Steelhounds meet in Corpus Christi. Make your plans to be part of the best entertainment option in South Texas on Caller-Times Family Day. For more information, please call the Rayz at (361)814-PUCK.
The Rayz opened up the 2005-2006 season in fine fashion with a pair of wins over the Austin Ice Bats. The Rayz will return to the ice on Sunday afternoon at 5:00pm for the first Caller-Times Family Day Game of the season. Fans can receive two free children tickets with the purchase of every adult priced ticket. Come watch the Rayz as they host the expansion Youngstown (OH) Steelhounds for the first ever meeting between the two clubs. For more information, please contact the Rayz at (361)814-PUCK.
