Vero Beach Devil Rays News Release
The Los Angeles Dodgers are heading West as the 59th Spring Training at Dodgertown comes to a close. With over 72,000 people attending games this year, 2006 marks the most successful Spring Training at Holman Stadium since the Baseball Strike of 1995. Fantastic fans, an exciting new roster, great weather, delicious food, and a fan-friendly atmosphere combined to create such a memorable month of March. The Dodgers would like to thank the fans, the community, the sponsors, and the staff for their support in 2006. There are many factors involved with the production of Spring Training, but none are as important as the people at the ballpark. Thank you again for your continued devotion to Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training at Dodgertown.
As the Big League Dodgers head home to Los Angeles, the Vero Beach Dodgers are preparing for their season at Holman Stadium. We are working hard to continue the success of Spring Training all summer long. The Dodgers hope to see everyone back at the ballpark in April to catch a glimpse of the young players making their way through the system en route to Los Angeles and the Major Leagues. We have many exciting promotions planned for 2006, and are introducing a new mascot for the first time in franchise history! Opening Day is April 7th at 6:30pm and will be followed by a Fireworks Extravaganza.
See you at the ballpark!
