Buffalo Silverbacks News Release

Buffalo, NY. Tiffany Prunty, Director of Children & Youth Services for Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers, Inc., wrote a letter to the Buffalo Silverbacks regarding their Creditors Interchange "Do Your Best, Never Quit" seminars.

"I believe this program is an asset to our community because it reinforces what is being taught in school, and at home. For those children who miss lessons at school and at home, or slip through the cracks, they definitely need a reinforcement such as this program. I would recommend this presentation to all of the agencies dealing with people."

The Creditors Interchange "Do Your Best, Never Quit" youth development initiative teaches children to focus on the effort they apply to a situation rather than the end result. Modie Cox, lead speaker of the initiative said, "We often put more pressure on ourselves in a situation which can keep us from reaching our goals. By taking this focus off the win or loss, it's easier for you to perform in any challenging situation. Wither you're on the basketball court, in school or dealing with life's challenges, at the end of the day you can't determine the end result, but you can focus on the job at hand by following the "Do Your Best, Never Quit" philosophy." Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
