
Dirt Dawgs lose to Navigators

LEOMINSTER, Mass. - The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs struggled and fell to the North Shore Navigators by an 11-4 score.
Kevin Marciano (Western New England) reached base three times including a two RBI single. Joe Breen (Southern Connecticut) scored three times in the game. Ryder Miconi (William and Mary) and Tommy Buonopane (Rhode Island) each had two walks.
Rich Baerga (St. Thomas Aquinas), Derek Bauer (SNHU), Alex Burridge (SE Missouri State), and Brandon Bingel (Bryant) each had a home run in the game. Bingel had three RBIs while Bauer and Burridge had two apiece. Alex Valenti (St. Joseph's College of Maine) pitched five innings allowing one run, four walks, no hits, while striking out six.
The Dirt Dawgs will travel to face the Pittsfield Suns on Saturday July 19th. Dan Ditusa (Seton Hall) will get the start for the Dirt Dawgs.
