RALEIGH , NC. (May 27, 2010) - The Seattle Mariners announced the following roster moves that effects the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx roster. Catcher, Luis Oliveros has been placed on the 7-day DL with a right shoulder strain. Oliveros is hitting .333 with 3 HR and 7 RBI. RHP Jake Wild will return to A+ High Desert after making just one start with the Diamond Jaxx. Wild lost his only start on Saturday against Montgomery allowing five runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Catcher, Travis Scott has been transferred from A+ High Desert to the Jaxx. Scott was hitting .269 with 5 HR and 22 RBI for the Mavericks. Scott is 25 years old from San Jose, IL. Pitcher, Ryan Feierabend has been transferred from High Desert to West Tenn as well. The former Seattle Mariner pitcher missed all of 2009 with Tommy John surgery. For High Desert, in six starts he was 0-1, 5.27 ERA in 27 1/3 innings. Feierabend (FEAR-bin) struck out 20 and walked just 2. Feierabend's major league totals with Seattle are 2-11 in 25 appearances (19 starts) with a 7.22 ERA in 106 innings. Feierabend is 24 years old and resides in Peoria, AZ. He was a 3rd round selection in the 2003 draft.

Also today, former Diamond Jaxx infielder Ronnie Prettyman, who has been on the disabled list has been released from his minor league contract by the Mariners.

The Jaxx play tonight at 6:15 at Carolina in game two of a five game series in Zebulon, NC.
