PITTSBURGH, Nov. 30 -- The Detroit Wheels defeated the Pittsburgh Xplosion 107-93 at Mellon Arena tonight. Former NBA star Armon Gilliam led the Xplosion with 29 points and 8 rebounds and Kyle Crawford added 19 as the team's record fell to 3-4. Former Schenley High School guard Jason Benson scored 14.
Leading scorers for the Detroit Wheels (3-5) were guards Chris Acker with 24 and Bryant Woodland, with 22 points and 5 assists. Reggie Riley added 21 points and 9 rebounds.
The Xplosion play the Detroit Wheels again on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Petersen Events Center at 7 p.m.
