AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Pistons announced today that the team has assigned guard Spencer Dinwiddie and forward Luigi Datome to the team's NBA Development League (D-League) affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive.
Dinwiddie, drafted 38th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, has appeared in four games with the Drive, averaging 16.0 points, 6.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 34.0 minutes per game. He has appeared in eight games for the Pistons this season, averaging 3.0 points and 12.4 minutes per game.
Datome, signed as a free agent in 2013, has appeared in one game for the Pistons this season, recording seven points, one rebound, one assist and one steal vs. L.A. Lakers (12/2). In 35 career games, he holds averages of 2.6 points, 1.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 0.2 steals in 7.1 minutes.
